Sheroes Hangout

Sheroes Hangout is one of the most meaningful and moving dining experiences in all of Agra — a café entirely staffed and run by women who are survivors of acid attacks, providing them dignified livelihood, community, and a platform to share their stories. Founded by the NGO Chhanv Foundation, Sheroes Hangout operates on a pay-what-you-can or no-minimum model: guests are encouraged to leave what they feel is fair for the food and the atmosphere, making it genuinely accessible to all visitors regardless of budget. Located a short walk from the Taj Mahal South Gate, the café draws a mix of domestic and international tourists, journalists, volunteers, and supporters throughout the day.
