Parking
nearby · About Rs 20-50 for a car for a couple of hours; confirm the posted rate before you park
Do not attempt to park in the bazaar. Paid lots operate around Badi Chaupar, Ramganj and near Sanganeri Gate and fill early, and the walled city's traffic will cost you more time than it saves. Take the metro to Badi Chaupar or have an auto drop you at a gate.
🚕 Ride Hailing Tip: Ola and Uber work, but pin Badi Chaupar or Sanganeri Gate rather than a shop address — drivers cannot reach mid-bazaar addresses in traffic and will cancel. Autos are often faster for short old-city hops; agree the fare before boarding, as meters are rarely used.
How to Reach: The cleanest approach is the Jaipur Metro Pink Line to Badi Chaupar, the underground terminus that opened in September 2020 directly beneath the top of the bazaar — you surface at the chaupar and the street runs south in front of you. Fares across the line are roughly Rs 10-30. From the south, enter through Sanganeri Gate. Autos and app cabs will drop you at Badi Chaupar or Sanganeri Gate, but they cannot usefully go through the bazaar itself in traffic, and walking the two kilometres end to end is both faster and the entire point.
