Shreyas Folk Museum

Shreyas Folk Museum introduces Gujarat’s craft and performance traditions within the Shreyas Foundation campus in Ambawadi. Plan one visit to the museum complex, whose related collections offer different perspectives on material culture, childhood and artistic expression.

Lokayatan, established in 1977, includes embroidery, beadwork, woodcarving and metalwork associated with Gujarat’s communities. Look at the techniques and uses recorded for each object. Respect the specificity of the labels rather than treating regional traditions as interchangeable.
