Chakra Tirth Ghat

Chakra Tirth Ghat occupies a quiet, weighty place in Ujjain's long sequence of Shipra (Kshipra) river ghats. While Ram Ghat draws pilgrims for morning bathing and evening aarti, Chakra Tirth is the city's principal cremation tirtha — the ground where Ujjain has performed its last rites for centuries.
