About Rewari
Rewari, roughly 85 km southwest of Delhi, rewards a relaxed day trip. Its headline sight is the Rewari Railway Heritage Museum, India's last operational steam-locomotive shed (established 1893), home to vintage engines and the celebrated Fairy Queen.
- In the old city, the three-storey Ghanteshwar Mandir gathers Sanatan-dharma deities under one roof, while the Sheetla Mata shrine at nearby Gokalgarh and the hilltop Gokalgarh fort draw pilgrims and view-seekers.

Rewari Railway Heritage Museum
India's only surviving 1893 steam-locomotive shed, an open-air railway heritage museum on the north edge of Rewari junction that keeps a fleet of vintage engines in working order — including the 1855 'Fairy Queen', the world's oldest steam locomotive still in service.
