Esphahan at Oberoi Amarvilas is the most celebrated fine-dining experience in Agra — a grand restaurant set within one of Asia's most acclaimed luxury hotels, offering an unobstructed Taj Mahal view from every table alongside live sitar music each evening. The vegetarian menu is exceptionally comprehensive, drawing on Mughlai court cuisine: richly spiced paneer preparations, slow-cooked dals, delicate biryanis, and elaborate desserts using saffron, rose, and silver leaf. Service is meticulous and the cellar of mocktails and fresh-pressed juices reflects the same care as the kitchen. Book at least two weeks in advance for dinner; breakfast at Esphahan is also a bucket-list experience.
