The Agra Bear Rescue Facility, operated by Wildlife SOS at Sur Sarovar (Keetham Lake), is one of India's most impactful wildlife conservation stories and one of the most meaningful responsible-travel experiences available to visitors in the Agra region. The facility houses over 100 rescued Sloth Bears — animals formerly exploited in the traditional dancing-bear trade, a practice involving poaching bear cubs and training them to perform on the street.
